Simon Pearce
Summary
Working closely with the prominent glass and pottery designer Simon Pearce, Bread Loaf planned, designed and built the Simon Pearce retail store, corporate offices, glass and pottery manufacturing, warehousing and distribution facilities in Windsor, Vermont.
The first phase of these projects developed the initial industrial park site infrastructure and created the glass-blowing facility, retail store and administrative offices. The second phase created a new primary entrance to the park and landscaped entry drive, expansion of the glass-blowing facility and development of a new structure that would house pottery manufacturing, kilns, retail display and pottery distribution. Future phases master planned during design of phase two included a restaurant, office space, a crafts building, museum and an outdoor nature park.
