Riley Rink

at Hunter Park

Summary

Bread Loaf designed Riley Rink at Hunter Park for all seasons: as the summer home of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, the Manchester facility meets the needs of musicians and symphony lovers. It provides the community with a place for indoor ice skating in the winter and can double as an indoor playing field.

Bread Loaf designed and built the rink to Olympic skating rink specifications while incorporating roll-up doors which open to the outside in warm weather. In summer mode, the arena seats 1,700 concert-goers under the pavilion with additional lawn seating on the gentle slope outside.
