Summary

Bread Loaf was the construction manager for the Mars Education Center at Fort Ticonderoga. The Bread Loaf team successfully met multiple challenges on this project including coordinating construction with archaeologists who carefully documented the project, assuring that modern mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems were “invisible” to the public, respecting how Mother Nature’s water, frost and vibrations from heavy equipment could turn sturdy stone walls into a fragile fortress and working with the Architect on environmental building processes to attain LEED™ Silver certification.
