I want to thank you personally for all the good work everyone at Bread Loaf has done for us these three years. Every single employee has been professional, friendly, creative, thorough and enjoyable. Every one. Your decision to back us through the settlement phase was absolutely critical to our having this new hall. Thank you again for everything.
Summary
After losing their landmark Grange Hall to fire, the Town of Ferrisburgh selected Bread Loaf to provide services to design and re-build the original historic building while updating the facility to meet current code and energy requirements. The reconstructed building and new addition house town offices and a large space for community meetings, events, performances and receptions.
Bread Loaf craftsmen reused salvaged materials or replicated original interior details including the ornate 24 inch tall crown molding, solid wood doors and the tin wall panels. Special features include a new four-stop custom-sized lift, 13 foot high operable sash windows, rot-resistant Spanish Cedar trim, roof brackets and a four-hour fire-rated vault to house Town records.
