Camp Dudley at Kiniya
Bath House
Summary
Camp Kiniya, an all-girls summer camp located on the eastern shore of Lake Champlain in Colchester, Vermont, has been serving families from the United States and abroad since its founding in 1919. The Camp sustained damage to several buildings during tropical storm Irene. One of the worst hit buildings was the Bath House where heavy rains had destabilized the building’s foundation.
Bread Loaf Corporation was selected to provide design, permitting, cost estimating and building services for the new Bath House within very tight schedule constraints. Bread Loaf completed the new Bath House, which was enlarged in capacity to accommodate occupants of the entire Camp, including 155 campers and 100 leaders and staff, well in advance of the arrival of summer campers.
