Expansion at Rotobec USA
Mike CurrierRotobec designs, manufactures and sells handling equipment forvarious industries, namely logging, scrap and waste handling and rail maintenance. The company is mainly re-known for its high quality grapples and knuckle boom loaders.
Rotobec will be expanding the installations at Rotobec USA. This expansion is necessary to suffice the increasing demand of our customers. The actual building is 10000 square feet and we will construct an additional 23000 square feet at our Littleton, New Hampshire plant. The architect firm in charge of the project is EHDanson Associates of St-Jonsbury, VT. Construction is supervised by Bread Loaf Corporation based out of Middleburry, VT.
The construction will begin on July 20th to be completed for the end of March 2016. We will take a few extra weeks to install our production machinery and to train the employees. Actually Rotobec USA counts 24 employees, among them 17 are located in Littleton. Once the expansion will be completed and the operations will be up and running, 25 new employees will be hired. Rotobec USA is looking to hire welders, machinists and mechanics. When finalized, complete knuckle boom loaders will be manufactured in New Hampshire.
