AGC/VT Executive Vice President, Cathy Lamberton, said the annual awards are a recognition of the superior skills that are demonstrated by AGC/VT members in some of the most intricate construction projects in Vermont in recent years. There were 28 entries in this year’s annual competition ranging from an airport extension project in Rutland to a new theater in White River Jct., to a sports complex expansion in Middlebury, to a recreational trail expansion along an abandoned northern railroad bed. Lamberton said the widely diversified building projects completed by AGC/VT member-firms is testament to their resourcefulness in construction planning to produce a safe workplace and an end result that exceeds expectations.
